Gold (XAUUSD): Waiting for Liquidity Sweep or Reversal at Order

🌍 GEOPOLITICAL BACKDROP: “THE DOOR TO PEACE” OR A LIQUIDITY TRAP?

The market is currently in an extremely sensitive phase. On one hand, optimistic signals from the White House regarding US–Iran negotiations are pushing capital toward risk assets, weakening the USD. On the other hand, Iran’s naval blockade and Israel’s firm stance continue to maintain geopolitical tension as a major risk catalyst.

Combined with softer PPI data, expectations of a potential Fed policy easing by late 2026 are providing key support for Gold (XAU/USD).

🧠 MARKET STRUCTURE ANALYSIS (SMC PERSPECTIVE)

After forming a CHoCH around the $4,700 level, market structure has clearly shifted to bullish, with a sequence of Higher Highs (HH) and Higher Lows (HL). At this stage, Smart Money is targeting key liquidity zones.

Above the $4,84x zone lies a significant Buy-side Liquidity (BSL) pool. This is where a large number of short traders’ stop losses are clustered. The key question is whether price will sweep this liquidity and reverse, or continue pushing higher with momentum.

📦 2. POI (Point of Interest) – Market Reaction Zones

Supply Zone (H1 OB): $4,840 – $4,847
A strong supply area sitting just below the liquidity pool. This is where bears may attempt a short-term counterattack.
Demand Zone (OB + FVG): $4,750 – $4,768
An unfilled Fair Value Gap combined with a clean Order Block, making it an ideal zone for bulls to re-enter the trend.

🔺 Scenario B: Trend Continuation Buy (Primary strategy)

Condition: Wait for price to retrace into $4,750 – $4,768 (FVG + OB zone).
