Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC reported an 18% year-on-year decline in net profit for the fourth quarter, even as revenue continued to grow.
Net profit stood at ā¹187 crore in Q4, down from ā¹228 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 6.8% year-on-year to ā¹458 crore from ā¹429 crore.
The company saw pressure on non-core income during the quarter, with income from other operations turning into a ā¹32.86 crore loss, compared with ā¹71.96 crore in the same period last year, according to exchange filings.
Earnings per share also declined to ā¹6.48 from ā¹7.91 in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Despite the earnings drop, the board recommended a final dividend of ā¹25.50 per equity share of ā¹5 face value for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
If approved, the dividend will be paid within 30 days of the AGM. The company said the record date for determining shareholder eligibility will be announced separately after approval.
