Gold (XAUUSD) is showing increasing bearish pressure after losing momentum from its recent rally. In today’s H1 analysis, price has broken below the 20 EMA and 50 EMA while the MACD remains bearish, suggesting sellers are currently in control.
Our primary scenario looks for a continuation lower if the H1 candle closes below the 4075–4078 support zone. In that case, the next downside targets are 4068, 4055, and 4040.
However, traders should also monitor the 4098–4100 resistance area. A strong H1 close back above this level would invalidate the immediate bearish outlook and could trigger a recovery toward 4115, 4130, and potentially 4150.
As always, wait for H1 candle confirmation before entering a trade. Avoid chasing price during volatile moves and manage risk carefully.
