Context (HTF)
4H structure shows a breakdown from prior range/channel with price now reacting from the range low / demand zone (~65.5ā66.1k). This is a reaction, not yet a confirmed reversal. Price remains below key reclaim zone (~70.6ā71.4k) and below HTF EMA resistance. Until that zone is reclaimed and accepted, bias remains cautious.
Context (LTF)
LTF shows initial impulse off the lows followed by compression. Small higher lows forming locally, but still within a broader bearish structure. No confirmed shift to HH/HL on higher timeframe yet.
Initial Add Plan (BTC Long)
Current long is held from lower levels. Add is conditional, not reactive.
Trigger:
Reclaim of 70.6ā70.7k zone (prior breakdown level)
Requirements:
ā¢ Strong 1H / preferably 4H close above reclaim zone
ā¢ Follow-through, not immediate rejection
Acceptance:
ā¢ Pullback holds above 70.6ā70.7k
ā¢ Higher low forms above reclaimed structure
ā¢ No full breakdown back below
Execution:
Add on pullback after acceptance, not on initial reclaim push
Invalidation:
ā¢ Failure to hold above 70.6ā70.7k after reclaim
ā¢ Reclaim ā rejection ā move back below = failed reclaim
No add if:
ā¢ Price taps reclaim zone but rejects immediately
ā¢ No acceptance or structure shift forms
Hedge Plan (ETH as Exposure Control)
Purpose:
Temporary hedge against BTC long if downside continuation resumes. Not a separate trade, but a reduction of net exposure.
Trigger (ETH):
Loss of 1968 on LTF
Sequence required:
ā¢ Break below 1968
ā¢ Retest from underside
ā¢ Rejection (S ā R flip confirmed)
Conditions for hedge:
ā¢ BTC failing to reclaim structure or showing weakness
ā¢ ETH showing cleaner downside continuation
ā¢ USDT.D holding strength (risk-off intact)
ā¢ Momentum present (not overlapping / choppy candles)
Execution:
ā¢ Partial hedge only (not equal to BTC position)
ā¢ Used to offset exposure, not reverse bias
Invalidation (critical):
ā¢ Reclaim of 1968 on ETH
ā¢ Hold above with structure (higher low / continuation)
Exit conditions:
ā¢ BTC reclaims strength (structure shift upward)
ā¢ ETH stalls instead of continuing down
ā¢ Hedge no longer provides directional protection
Important:
No hedge in low-volatility or weekend range conditions. Avoid being locked into opposing positions without expansion.
