What if it’s time to switch back to a long position in silver?
The market has been chopping around lately, and honestly, it feels like a coin flip. Price action hasn’t been particularly convincing in either direction. Still, I think there may be an attractive short-term opportunity here.
I’m considering entering a long position from current levels with a very tight stop-loss at 57.95, just below today’s low. That keeps the risk at less than 1%, while the potential upside is over 3%. From a risk-to-reward perspective, I think it looks quite attractive.
This is strictly a short-term trade. I don’t intend to sit in the position for long, and I may even close it before the weekend. Whatever the market is willing to give today, I’ll gladly take. After that, I’d rather reassess once the weekend is behind us than carry unnecessary risk.
What I like most is the tight stop-loss. The market should quickly tell me whether this idea is right or wrong, which is exactly the kind of trade I prefer. We had a sharp drop into an important support area, and buyers are already stepping in with a noticeable rebound.
