SpaceX closed at $147.95, following a sharp rejection from the $176.42 high. Price broke below the rising trendline and the blue 50 EMA, signaling weakening bullish momentum and a shift toward a bearish short-term structure.
However, the after-hours move toward $159.24 following the earnings report puts the bulls back in focus. The key question now is whether this recovery can hold when regular trading resumes.
Technically, $152 is the first resistance level bulls need to reclaim. If buyers maintain momentum and push through $159–$160, the recovery could extend toward $164–$165. On the downside, failure to hold $147–$148 would keep sellers in control and bring $140 into focus.
My outlook: Earnings have created the potential for a strong rebound, but the chart has not confirmed a bullish reversal yet. I want to see price reclaim resistance and hold above it before calling a trend change. The next move will depend on whether buyers can turn the after-hours strength into a sustained recovery.
